ABOUT ME

I am a proud South Carolinian and a proud Native American, as a member of the local Natchez-Kusso Tribe, also known as the Edisto Indians. I was born and raised in South Carolina and graduated from Summerville High School, part of our state’s public school system.

I was raised in a middle-class home grounded in biblical values, hard work, and the belief that with determination and faith, you can accomplish your dreams. Those values helped shape who I am and continue to guide the way I serve today.

My career in public service began as an Emergency Medical Technician in the 911 system. I later worked for a private company transporting critically ill and injured patients to trauma centers, where I saw firsthand the importance of compassion, quick action, and serving people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

My husband and I now own an Information Technology business in Turbeville, South Carolina, and we are blessed with two beautiful daughters. My faith, family, heritage, and commitment to service are at the heart of everything I do.
